First of Salam and Ramadan Mubrak to all the Muslim brother and sisters. It’s a month full of blessings from Allah. We should seek forgiveness for our sins and bad behaviors with the people as well. May Allah Forgive us all. Ameen.
Benefits of Reading Quran
So let’s get straight to the point. A lot of people have that same question in their mind and that is what will I gain after reading the Quran? what are the Benefits of Reading Quran? If you have the same question in your minds then this is the right article for you which will define you each and every point.
The first point which most of the people might ignore is that it is the orders and messages of our Maker Allah (SWT). I am keeping this in the first position because most people ignore that fact. Muslim are not allowed to read quran unless they perform wazzu properly. This is because it’s the Holy Book of Allah until the Day of Judgement. Allah Has given us a limited lifetime on earth on average 60 years. So keeping in mind that we should do our best to learn the Quran from the Quran teacher, obey the orders of Allah and convey Allah’s message to the other people as well. I am not saying convey only for muslims but for the non muslims as well. So first thing what we will understand by learning quran is “Why Allah has created us and what Allah wants from us”
The Second thing we understand by learning the Quran is why Allah sent the messengers to us. What orders they bring. Allah has made quite clear about the rank of last prophet Muhammad (SAW) and Quran was sent to him by Allah by time to time. It’s been 1400 years but there is no place in the world where the Quran is not found. Muslims are everywhere and so is the Quran. Allah has taken the full responsibility of Quran safety and now we see how well Quran is protected.
The third thing which we achieve by learning the Quran is that Even if you don’t understand the Quran and recite its one word or letter you will get ten rewards. Imagine if we understand the Quran and then recite it, I would be unable to count the reward. Subhan Alllah
Attaining the blessings of Almighty Allah is not a difficult task; there are countless ways for a Muslim to do so. We shall discuss as much of them as the length of this article will allow. All you really have to do is read the Quran and follow the Sunnah (the ways of Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.)).
The Holy Quran
The Holy Quran is the divine book of Allah that He sent down to mankind so that man could be guided and be successful in this life and after his death. It is the greatest book of the world as it has been kept safe from any changes by humans till this day even after about fourteen hundred years and it provides guidance to man about every aspect of life. Reading or reciting the Quran is thus a great way to earn His blessings. You receive sawab (rewards or blessings) for even reading the letters of the Quran. As we can see from the following hadith:
“He who reads one letter of the Quran it (becomes) for him a good deed, and a single good deed is rewarded (by Allah) by ten times the like thereof. I am not saying that Alif-Lam-Mim is (just) one word, but that Alif is a (separate) letter (word), Lam is a (separate) letter (word), and Mim is a (separate) letter (word).” (Tirmidhi)
